I’ve been reading Pattie Boyd’s (ex wife of George Harrison and Eric Clapton) autobiography, Wonderful Tonight, lately.  I picked it up at a book fair last month for a buck in perfect condition so eh, why not.  She never fails to mention her jobs with Vogue, and I ran across these scans yesterday of Italian Vogue 5-page spread she did with Twiggy in ‘69.  The clothes are quoted as being by Krizia. The photos were by Justin de Villeneuve and David Bailey.

Pattie Boyd was only 5’7 and a half.  Industry standards have certainly changed since then, but she did have long looking legs.  The purple and blue dress is divine.  As are the lace-ups and over the knees.
